Terms and Conditions Parties:
These General Terms and Conditions – for Best Parking (operating company: General Airport Parking Ltd., registered office: 2220 Vecsés, Kodály Zoltán Street 11, site 2220 Vecsés, Széchényi Street 150, tax number: 277112874-2-13, company registration number: 13-09-202600, company registry court: Budapest Metropolitan Court Registry Court, hereinafter referred to as Operator), as operator and the customer using the parking lot located at the company’s premises against payment of parking fees, subject to compliance with the terms of use, enclosed by a fence, equipped with gates and barriers (hereinafter referred to as Customer) (hereinafter collectively referred to as Parties), sets forth the conditions of the legal relationship established between them. The parking contract between the parties comes into effect upon the Customer’s receipt of the parking card. The General Terms and Conditions come into effect at the moment of entry through the gate.
Terms of Use:
The parking lot operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Entry is only not possible if the Operator has closed it for some reason, or if the parking lot is full.
The rules of the road traffic code apply throughout the entire parking area, with a maximum permitted speed of 5 km/h.
The Customer may use the parking lot at their own risk and responsibility.
Upon entry to the parking lot, a parking card is issued, which allows passage through the barrier and parking of the vehicle. The parking card must be kept until the end of the stay, and then handed over to the relevant staff, as the card owner is considered the person rightfully entitled to the vehicle. If the parking card is lost or stolen, a driving license or registration document, as well as proof of identity, are required.
Video recordings are made upon entry to and during the stay in the parking lot until departure. The Operator uses these recordings in accordance with data protection laws, solely for the operation of the parking lot, keeps them for 30 days, and then deletes or destroys them. The Operator releases the recordings only upon request from the authorities as defined by the laws.
Parking is only allowed in designated areas in the parking lot, and the fire lane must always be kept clear. Vehicles must be parked in a manner that does not obstruct the entry and exit of other vehicles, provides sufficient space for opening doors, and does not cause damage to adjacent vehicles.
After occupying a parking space, the vehicle engine must be turned off as soon as possible, leaving it locked with the security devices activated. Sleeping in the vehicle, leaving small children or animals unattended is prohibited.
The Customer is responsible for keeping the vehicle keys with them; the Operator has no means to keep them, hence any loss is the Customer’s responsibility.
The use of open flames is prohibited in the parking lot. Flammable substances (except those in the fuel tank), hazardous substances, explosives, or any substances or objects whose possession is prohibited by law may not be stored. If there is suspicion of this, the competent authority will be notified, and further actions will be taken by the Operator according to the authorities’ instructions.
It is prohibited in the parking lot to:
violate the rules of the road traffic code;leave the parking lot without paying the fee or attempting to do so without payment;install any equipment in the parking lots or damage parked vehicles;wait or sleep in a vehicle, run the engine while stationary;use open flames;obstruct the normal operation of the parking lot;use the equipment necessary for operating the parking lot in a manner not intended for its purpose;stop a vehicle with leaking gas, petrol, or oil from its fuel tank;enter with a gas-powered vehicle (except vehicles equipped with safety valves) or with animal-drawn vehicles;bring any type of flammable material into the parking lot for storage, even as part of any vehicle component, except for fuel in the vehicle's fuel tank;bring live animals, hazardous substances, chemicals, poisons, explosives, or any objects whose possession is prohibited by law into the vehicle, or store them, or bring them in the parking lot;stop vehicles outside the designated parking spaces or occupy multiple parking spaces with one vehicle;shut down a vehicle without a license plate, otherwise inoperable, or a vehicle that does not comply with traffic regulations;leave a person or animal unattended in a locked vehicle.
Payment Terms:
The current fees can be found on the website www.bestparking.hu and must be paid upon departure, which can be done in cash or by bank card. VAT invoices can only be issued upon prior request before payment; retroactive issuance is not possible.
Liability:
The Operator, upon payment of the current fees, stores the vehicle in an outdoor parking lot under camera surveillance. The Operator is not responsible for any pollution or elemental damage that may occur during the outdoor storage of the vehicle.
The parking lot must only be used for its intended purpose. The vehicle must be left locked (with windows raised) in the parking lot in a way that valuables are not visible from the outside in passenger or cargo compartments. The Operator is not responsible for any damages caused by third parties to vehicles and/or their passengers in the parking lot. The Operator cannot control the behavior of guests. The Operator is not responsible for the behavior of third parties, especially for any injuries, vandalism, theft, burglary, whether the third party is present in the parking lot rightfully or unlawfully. Theft, car break-ins, or any other violent acts by third parties resulting in damages must be reported to the locally competent police station. Everyone uses the parking lot at their own risk and responsibility. The Operator accepts no responsibility for vehicles parked in the parking lot or for items left in them. Customers using the parking lot are obliged to compensate for any damage caused by them to other vehicles or parking equipment. Such incidents must be reported immediately to the Operator.
Airport Transfer Process:
The Operator provides shuttle service between the parking lot and the Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport using its own vehicles, which is included in the parking fee. Upon return, after receiving the luggage, the transfer request must be made by calling the phone number on the parking card; the Operator provides this service only upon request, not on a regular schedule. The travel time between the parking lot and the terminals varies depending on traffic, between 4-10 minutes, however, the Operator is not responsible for any traffic obstacles or delays due to official inspections.
Terms:
The Operator reserves the right to unilaterally modify these conditions at any time. The modification of the Terms is at the discretion of the Operator. The modified Terms shall become effective from the calendar day following their publication, and shall not affect legal relationships established prior to their entry into force. Complaints Handling: Any complaints regarding the services provided under these terms and conditions can be made to info@bestparking.hu or in person at the customer service.
Personal Data:
The data management regulations regarding the handling of customer personal data can be found on the website www.bestparking.hu/adatkezelés. In case of violation of consumer protection regulations, consumers may file their complaints with the district office territorially competent from January 1, 2017 (contact: http://jarasinfo.gov.hu).
Applicable Laws, Settlement of Disputes: In matters not regulated by the Terms, as well as regarding the validity, effectiveness, and interpretation of the Terms, the provisions of the Hungarian Civil Code and other applicable Hungarian laws in force at all times shall apply. To settle any disputes arising between the Parties regarding the Terms, the Parties may apply to the court with jurisdiction and competence according to Act III of 1952 on the Code of Civil Procedure. These General Terms and Conditions are valid indefinitely from April 1, 2024.
